Power of Opportunities

Showcasing the social responsiveness of local artists and the obligation to act

The social reawakening that following such events as a global pandemic urge personal reassessments in all of us. We must confront a new understanding of social responsibly, to discern what our obligations are to health emergencies, climate emergencies, social injustices, and the wide societal changes we face.

Felstead Art has invited a selected group of local photographers in Hackney Wick that demonstrate social responsiveness and an obligation to act. ‘Power of Opportunities’ explores how these actions utilise artistic, architectural, and creative skillsets, responding to the new local and global challenges that have arisen following this pandemic. We’re excited to be exhibiting the photography work of Alex Robertson and Matt Payne.
